Within the Pikine neighbourhood, in the central area of Dakar, there is a site occupied by a huge truck and bus graveyard — an area that nonetheless offers real potential for urban development.

The client asked us for a proposal to build around 300 homes over a site of approximately 46,230 sqm, but in the urban concept we went a little further, studying the area, its potential, and the desirable urban spaces in a context where there are no standards or rigid regulations as in Europe.
