LCC is located in Morne à Tuf, in the centre of the colonial area of Port-au-Prince. The Cent Cinquantenaire secondary school was severely damaged after the earthquake of January 12, 2010, which forced the establishment of temporary structures to accommodate students.
The design responds to a U-shaped configuration where one of the arms of the building serves as a facade. The architecture incorporates elements of sustainability and environmental protection such as lattices and cantilevers that protect the facades and classrooms from the sun and the weather.
Construction began but the site was occupied by armed groups and the project has not been completed.
