Royal Caribbean International
The project involves the complete reconfiguration of the craftsmen’s market in the cruise ship village in Labadie.
Indeed, in its current configuration, sellers, buyers and operators encounter many difficulties: accessibility, visibility, product display and storage areas, lighting, protection from the sun and bad weather.
A new kiosk module is proposed that develops along the length of the site, adapting as much as possible to the natural terrain in order to offer accessibility and visibility.
The kiosks adopt a colorful architecture that re-explores the traditional ornaments of Caribbean architecture.
The spaces are reworked with the artisans in order to reach their expectations. Implementation is simplified so that the site manager can have a better control the activities. Finally, the customer benefits from more comfortable shopping areas for a pleasant discovery of local products.
