Lycée Marie Jeanne, Haiti — WE Architects
The Lycee Marie Jeanne was destroyed by the 2010 earthquake. The only building that survived the disaster was the assembly hall, a spectacular building of Modern Movement architecture with interesting details in concrete and even a passive cooling system using Canadian wells, an example of architecture in the Caribbean. Respecting the existing Auditorium, three volumes were ordered and created, adapting the prototype design.
