Morne a Tuf, Haiti — WE Architects

Multidisciplinary work carried out in Morne à Tuf (Colonial centre of Port-Au-Prince), in one of the few regulated areas of Haiti at the urban level. The objective of the work consists on: – Carrying out an urban diagnosis of 20 blocks that make up the urban fabric of Morne à Tuf. – Identifying one of the blocks as the most favourable for carrying out an exercise of urban intervention and reparcelization, contributing and identifying actors and prioritizing their disposition and needs. – Carrying out a practical workshop on the exercise of reparcelization, identifying potential investors and key agents in the process, such as notaries. One of the products was the production of an illustrative and didactic video of the process, made in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country, Department of Urbanism.
